DMJM Harris served as engineering manager for the design-construct team selected to implement the northern section of the Carolina Bays Parkway for the South Carolina Department of Transportation. This 19-mile, six-lane freeway with four fully directional interchanges was completed within a rapid 30-month schedule. The project is located on the west side of the Inter-coastal Waterway and extends from SC 9 in North Myrtle Beach to U.S. 501 in Myrtle Beach.
