DMJM Harris has been responsible for the planning, design, and operations of the Florida DOT’s SMART SunGuide Transportation Management Center (TMC). DMJM Harris completed the master plan and facility design, which included system, communications and A/E services. In addition, DMJM Harris developed the SOP Manual; provided ITS training; developed a vehicle probe program; managed traffic incident management meetings; and developed and implemented the Severe Incident Response Vehicle program. DMJM Harris has provided 24/7 operations since the TMC’s inception and is under contract to continue operational services for the next eight years.
